11.TUPE Transfers

When you are ready to increase your business by buying another company or when you are ready to sell your business, we can help with the due diligence around your staff.

On transfer of the business, the staff and their terms and conditions of employment are protected and transferred to the new owner.

Firstly it is required that both old and new employers are required to inform and consult employees affected directly or indirectly by the transfer. Employees of the previous owner when the business changes hands, automatically become employees of the new employer on the same terms and conditions. Their continuity of service and any other rights are all preserved.
