Graham Symmons, HR Advisor
Graham is our resident HR guru. As an Associate Member of the CIPD and through his previous roles within the Cornish Business Community he has acquired a wealth of generalist HR knowledge and experience.
He enjoys the day to day working contact with Sapience HR Client’s by being able to offer help with employment and staffing advice. You can also catch up with him at Sapience Solutions presentations or networking events organised by the local business community. Graham is discovering the joys of the Social Media revolution; he enjoys starting and participating in a debate on Facebook, and on Twitter, from time to time.
When not drinking some of Becky’s multiple cups of coffee, Graham is both an active volunteer and supporter of others efforts. Over the past few years Graham has worked with several organisations that provide a fun yet structured place for young people to spend some of their leisure time. Complementary therapies are something which interest Graham, he is a qualified Reiki and Karuna ® Reiki Master/Teacher, and has been known to practice on (un)willing friends and family.
As a recently appointed Parish Councillor, he is getting to grips with S.106 and planning regulations as well as helping shape and develop his local community and will raise matters of interest or concern at council meetings on their behalf.
When not being busy Graham walks the Cornish Coastal Paths, irrespective of the weather, with his two dogs (Lew and Mel).
Graham enjoys the opportunity to chat about most things and is always ready to hear (and probably forget) a good joke.
